NSLP Online Application Instructions

Thank you for using our online application process! Please follow the instructions below to help ensure your application is completed properly. Please note that applications missing required information will cause a delay in processing.

Before beginning the online application process, please make sure you have the following required information handy:

• Income statements for all adults living in the household (for example: pay-stubs, social security disability, retirement, alimony, child support, etc). This will help determine your child's eligibility for free or reduced meals if applicable.
• Last 4 digits of your Social Security number for identification purposes, if you have one assigned.
• First and last names of all adults and children living in the household.
• If any child listed on the application has Cal-Fresh, CalWorks, Kin-Gap, or FDPIR benefits, you will need their case number.
