8th Grade E.O. Green Families,
Our 8th-grade students will soon begin preparing for their transition to high school. We want to make sure you have the most accurate and up-to-date information from the Oxnard Union High School District (OUHSD).
Enrollment for 2026–2027
Please note that the general enrollment window for the 2026–2027 school year has not yet opened. OUHSD will release enrollment instructions at a later date, and we will share those details with you as soon as they become available.
If You Are Requesting a Different High School
If your student plans to attend a high school other than your assigned home school, you must complete an Intra-District Transfer Application.
Intra-District Transfer Window:
November 3, 2025 – February 27, 2026
Applications submitted during this timeframe are considered “on-time,” and families will receive decisions by late April 2026.

Important Reminders
Transfer approvals are not guaranteed and depend on school capacity.
Students may be placed on a waitlist if more requests are received than available space.
Students should plan to attend their school of residence unless a transfer request is formally approved.

Transportation
Families are responsible for transportation if their student attends a school through the Intra-District Transfer process.
